Eva Lee Scott, 67

Ms. Eva Lee Scott was born on August 28, 1952 in Quitman, Georgia. She received her education from Washington Street High School in Quitman.  She worked at the Presbyterian Home and remained in Healthcare Services until she retired. She was a faithful member of Shumate Church of Christ in Quitman, Georgia.

She passed from this life on February 15, 2020 in Valdosta, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe Scott and Mary Lillie Scott, her significant other Cornelius Stephens, a son Ulysses Stephens, a daughter Lamarion Stephens and a sister Josephine Thompkins (Henry).

She is survived by her Children, Ernest L. Scott, Donna F. Copeland, Quelita Thompkins, Cornell A. Stephens, and Jermaine Hallman; Sister, Geneva Scott (Tommy); Brothers, John W. Scott (Faye) and Salem F. Scott; Grandchildren,  Anthony Bryan, Lakeya McClain (Brandon), Michelle Scott, Brianeshia Copeland, Malique Stephens, Tyvon Gray, Sharon Mobley, Alijah Hallman, Arianna Griffin, Arsenio Hallman II, Omarion Turner, Ivan Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, Emory Reynolds and seven Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Shumate Church of Christ with Minister Tony Herring officiating. Burial followed at the North End Cemetery in Quitman.
